A time for giving.

The run up to Christmas is a busy time here at Beercott HQ, as I am sure it is just about everywhere else. While we are busy keeping up with orders to ensure everything arrives in time for Christmas, it is easy to forget that there are plenty of people who for one reason or another are denied the opportunity to enjoy that simple pleasure – reading a book!

Over the years there has been a huge decline in libraries and local independent bookshops. This is a real shame, as we could not have got to where we are without the support of some fantastic independent shops, and they provide a perfect escape from the humdrum world we all live in.

So, next time you want to buy a new book why not pay a visit to your local independent bookshop before they disappear for ever.
