As a little break from the daily grind in Warwickshire, we took Beercott HQ to Cornwall for a couple of days. Now this may seem like a nice jolly (and indeed it certainly was fun), but there was a good reason for the trip – we were on our way to visit another crafter to discuss a new book idea! It was such a bind to have to spend a couple of days in the glorious countryside of south Cornwall, with a view across to St Michael’s Mount at Marazion.
Now, much as we would like to we can’t give too much away at this point but rest assured we are very excited and hope to make a full announcement very soon.
One thing that came out of the trip that we can mention is that to compliment her book ‘A Year in Woolly Wonders’, Kerry Lucas has come up with a collection of festive patterns which will be released just in time for Christmas. Entitled ‘A Woolleyful Christmas’ it is due for release early December so keep your eyes peeled for special offers and further news. It will be available to pre-order from mid November. Full details will be updated on the books page here.
We are also busy planning the next twelve months which are already looking very busy with a total of 5 new books scheduled, covering both crafts and theatre along with visits to craft fairs, book fairs and theatre related events.
Thinking ahead to Christmas, don’t forget we have a limited quantity of Christmas cards by Kerry in our shop too. Take a look here.
